I have never seen a stock Suzuki muffler turn brown. I know that my J.C. replacement turned brown in 20 miles and I sent it back for my money and then replaced the stock muffler on. I also drilled two 1/2 inch holes and two 3/8 inch holes in the end baffle disk. Now it sounds like a roto-tiller!! Enjoy your new Savage.
